Leaving Madrid

Hola! buenos noches.

 We are on the train on the way to Sevilla and we had a wonderful time in Madrid! We spent time at the Palace, The Prado Museum, and Plaza Mayor. We ate at a great pinxtos (slices of bread with every topping you can think of, held together with a toothpic usually) restaurant the first night. Lots of vino that is so cheap! We also found a great market where we put together a great picnic of cheese, bread, bocadillos and plums. We took it to Retiro park, a very large park by the Prado that was once reserved for royalty. It was so beautiful and relaxing. Yesterday we also went to the other side of the city to see IE, a school Jordan is applying to for his MBA.  Finally last night we went to Casa Lucio for dinner followed by vino at our favorite bar and churros con chocolate. Casa Lucio is a famous place in Madrid known for seafood and famous patrons (like the Queen of Spain...it has been around a while!) I ate shrimp with the heads on! Crazy but delicious. We are looking forward to Seville. Pictures will be uploaded later when we find an Internet cafe.
